At thea gaia, we create beautiful soap by hand, the way our ancestors used to.

Well, ok... not *quite* like our ancestors did!

We don't stand over a hot cauldron of bubbling bullock fat stirring in a lye made from wood ash.

In fact, we don't use bullock fat. Or any kind of animal fat at all. Except for our organic emu oil soap, and once we've run out of it, there won't be any more.

Pure Australian organic olive, sunflower, safflower, jojoba, macadamia & avocado oils.

Palm oil, sourced from an environmentally friendly, village grower co-op, and purchased by our co-op as part of our Fair Dinkum dedication to Fair Trade.

Ditto for our coconut oil, shea butter & cocoa butter.

Many of our essential oils are also certified organic...

So, yes. You can buy cheaper soap.

But there's a reason for that.

The exploitation of our earth and those who can least afford it.

By those who should know better.
